Description
The 24 fret, two-octave fretboard of the ARZ surpasses the boundaries of traditional single-cutaway guitars. A smooth neck heel provides ease of play, and longer neck scale makes the ARZ ideal for both standard tune shredders and drop-tune demons.
Prestige
There are three principles behind our new Ibanez Prestige line: Precision, Performance, and Playability. The combination of high-tech manufacturing techniques with old-world Japanese craftsmanship, true innovation in design and construction, and the incorporation of ideas and suggestions from musicians from around the world are the cornerstones of the Prestige production process.
ARZ neck
ARZ features slim neck & ultra smooth heel for superb playability.
Ebony fretboard
The tight grain of Ebony provides a smooth, dense playing surface that produces a tight low-end with the quick response needed for metal.
Stainless steel frets
The stainless steel frets are known for their bright tone, and they add player-friendly features, such as long durability and a smoothness to bend on.
Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups
Hand-wound in the UK, Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups deliver huge, deep bottom with rich mid range and warm highs.
Tight-Tune Bridge/Tailpiece
Solid as a rock, the Tight-Tune bridge and tailpiece were designed to lock down securely and prevent any kind of wobble or movement.
Each saddle is locked into the base plate, and the bridge is anchored by stud bolts into the body of the guitar. Furthermore, the studs are also locked onto the base plate so that the maximum vibration from the string is transferred to the body.
Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads
The Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuning stability, cutting down string-changing time.
