SLASH

Slash is a British-American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the lead guitarist for the hard rock band Guns N’ Roses. He formed the side project Slash’s Snakepit and co-founded Velvet Revolver. Guitar World ranked his guitar solo in “November Rain” number 6 on their list of “The 100 Greatest Guitar Solos” in 2008. Total Guitar placed his riff in “Sweet Child o’ Mine” at number 1 on their list of “The 100 Greatest Riffs” in 2004.

Silenoz, co-founder and rhythm guitarist of Dimmu Borgir, is integral to the band’s distinctive sound. Since its origin, Silenoz has been a driving force behind their symphonic black metal style. He has contributed heavily to their lyrical and musical compositions. His deep, narrative writing and complex guitar work have defined much of the band’s dark, atmospheric presence. Silenoz continues to shape Dimmu Borgir’s path, ensuring their place at the forefront of the genre.
