NITA STRAUSS
Nita Strauss, an American guitarist, has made a significant mark in the rock and metal scenes. The nickname “Hurricane” is a testament to her fast playing style. In 2014 she became Alice Cooper’s lead guitarist. In addition to her solo career she as been in several bands and been the touring guitarist for Demi Lovato. Strauss is a dedicated educator and inspiration, promoting guitar to a new generation of players, particularly encouraging female musicians.
NOEL GALLAGHER
Noel Gallagher, best known as the lead guitarist, principal songwriter, and occasional lead vocalist of the iconic British rock band Oasis. Noel is one of the most influential musicians of his generation. His work with Oasis during the 1990s helped define the Britpop movement. After Oasis disbanded in 2009, Gallagher continued to impact the music scene with his solo project, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, showcasing his evolving musical style.
NOODLES
Noodles, born Kevin Wasserman, is the lead guitarist of the influential American punk rock band The Offspring. Joining the band in 1985, his sharp guitar playing has been a key element of the band’s energetic sound and major successes. Known for his distinctive bleached-blond hair and humorous stage presence, Noodles has helped craft some of punk rock’s most memorable riffs. Noodles has contributing to hits like “Self Esteem” and “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)”.
NERGAL
Nergal, born Adam Darski, is the frontman of Behemoth. A band renowned for their intense blend of black and death metal. Since forming Behemoth in Poland in 1991, Nergal has been the primary songwriter, pushing the boundaries of metal music both lyrically and musically. Me and That Man is Nergal’s folk and blues-inspired project that explores themes far removed from his metal roots, offering a dark, introspective take on Americana and country music.
NEIL WESTFALL
Neil Westfall, rhythm guitarist for the American metalcore band A Day to Remember. Neil is known for his robust guitar playing and contributions to the band’s energetic sound. Since joining the band shortly after its formation in 2003, Westfall has helped shape their fusion of pop punk and hardcore metal elements. His dynamic presence and songwriting skills have been integral to the band’s success and resonance within the metalcore and pop-punk scenes.
NANCY WILSON
Nancy Wilson, co-founder and lead guitarist of the rock band Heart. She is celebrated for her pioneering contributions to rock music. Alongside her sister Ann, Nancy propelled Heart to success in the 1970s and 80s, with hits like “Crazy on You” and “Barracuda”. Nancy Wilson is known for her versatile guitar skills and powerful acoustic playing. Nancy helped redefine the role of women in rock music, blending hard rock riffs with a melodic sensibility.
