Often called “Slowhand,” Clapton’s career has spanned over five decades. He has been a member of the Yardbirds, Cream, and Derek and the Dominos, in addition to a successful solo career. Eric Clapton has had profound impact on the blues and rock genres is marked by his expressive and emotive guitar playing.
ED O’BRIEN
Ed O’Brien is an English musician, and the guitarists of the influential alternative rock band Radiohead. Renowned for his expansive and textural guitar work, O’Brien has significantly shaped Radiohead’s distinctive sound across their critically acclaimed albums. His innovative use of effects and looping technology enhances the atmospheric quality of the band’s music. Beyond Radiohead, O’Brien has also explored solo projects, further showcasing his talent.
ERIC PETERSON
Eric Peterson is an American guitarist, best known as a member of the American thrash metal band Testament. He is the only remaining original member left in the band. Eric Peterson and vocalist Chuck Billy are the only members to appear on all of the band’s studio albums. Eric Peterson also has a side project black metal band called Dragonlord. He originally played rhythm guitar, but recently Eric Peterson has played lead along with Alex Skolnick.
ELIAS VILJANEN
Elias Viljanen is a Finnish guitarist renowned for his technical skill and speed. Best known as the lead guitarist for the power metal band Sonata Arctica since 2007. Viljanen’s playing is characterized by its melodic precision and complex solos, contributing significantly to Sonata Arctica’s symphonic and fast-paced sound. In addition to his work with the band, Viljanen has released solo albums that showcase his prowess in neoclassical metal guitar.
EMILY WOLFE
Emily Wolfe, a Texas-based singer-songwriter and guitarist. She has quickly made a name for herself in the rock and blues genres with her compelling vocals and formidable guitar skills. Known for her energetic performances and raw, authentic sound. Wolfe combines elements of classic rock, blues, and indie to create music that resonates with both nostalgia and modernity. Her self-titled debut album showcases her talent for gritty guitar riffs and soulful songwriting.
EMPPU VUORINEN
Emppu Vuorinen is the guitarist for the symphonic metal band Nightwish. The Finnish guitarist is one of the founding members. Emppu’s guitar playing is central to the band’s lush, orchestral sound.
