BRIAN “HEAD” WELCH
Brian “Head” Welch is an American musician, singer and songwriter. Best known as one of the guitarists and co-founder of the nu metal band Korn, and his solo project Love and Death. Along with fellow Korn guitarist Munky, Welch helped develop Korn’s distinctive sound. A mix of sirenlike shards of dissonant guitar that mimicked a turntablist’s various effects and rumbling down-tuned riffing. This sound has defined the nu metal aesthetic beginning in the mid-’90s.
BJÖRN GELOTTE
Björn Gelotte is a songwriter and guitarist for the Swedish band In Flames. He joined the band as the drummer in 1995. He continued his position as drummer during The Jester Race and Whoracle. Gelotte switched to his current position on guitars after Glenn Ljungström left the band. He shared lead/rhythm guitar work with now former In Flames guitarist Jesper Strömblad. In March 2004, Björn were ranked #70 out of 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of all time by Guitar World.
BUCKETHEAD
Buckethead, is an American multi-instrumental musician who has received critical acclaim for his innovative guitar playing. His music spans many genres, such as progressive metal, funk, blues, ambient, and more. He performs primarily as a solo artist with over 300 studio albums. He has collaborated with a wide variety of artists such as Bernie Worrell, Iggy Pop, Serj Tankian, Mike Patton. He was a member of Guns N’ Roses from 2000 to 2004.
BEN BURNLEY
Ben Burnley is the founder, lead vocalist, and rhythm guitarist of the American rock band Breaking Benjamin. Known for his distinctive voice and introspective songwriting. Burnley has been instrumental in shaping the band’s sound, characterized by heavy guitar riffs, memorable melodies, and deeply personal lyrics. BUZ MCGRATH
Buz McGrath is the lead guitarist in the American metalcore band Unearth. Buz is celebrated for his intricate riffing and high-energy performances.
