PRS SE Orianthi Scarlet Red is the signature guitar for Orianthi. She has been playing PRS since 1997 when she traded acoustic for electric guitar after seeing Carlos Santana in concert in her native Australia. Less than ten years later, Carlos Santana affirmed, “If I was going to pass the baton to somebody, she would be my first choice.” Orianthi has jammed with and supported such legendary musicians as Carlos Santana, Steve Vai, ZZ Top, and Michael Jackson, more than earning her spot as a guitar great.

This guitar is the SE Signature version of Orianthi’s PRS Custom 24 model It boasts a Korina back with a Maple top that provides focused tone with plenty of bite. The Ebony fretboard is ultra strong for long term dependability and feels great to play. The wide, thin neck profile is comfortable to play in both rhythm and lead roles. The SE Orianthi has a beveled SE carve and push/pull tone control with 3 way blade switch. Add to this dual PRS SE humbucking pickups and you have a wide ranging tone with powerful output giving you that signature PRS tone perfect for any musical style.
A true player’s guitar through and through, the SE Orianthi is an instrument you’ll be proud to get in your hands. The Scarlet Red finish has a sleek depth whilst the signature “O” at the 12th fret adds a nice, unique touch. This is not just a beautiful guitar though, the SE Orianthi is equally as striking in tone as it is in looks with two humbucking pickups – an SE HFS Humbucker and an SE Vintage Bass Humbucker.
