Description
As the guitarist for American metal masters Lamb of God, Will Adler required a guitar that could handle his powerful yet nuanced playing style. The LTD WA-WARBIRD is excellent for any genre of music where high-performance guitar playing is a must. It offers set-thru construction, with the neck extending into the guitar’s body cavity and offering smooth and fast access to the highest frets. The WA-WARBIRD has a mahogany body, a three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets. Its sound is powered by a set of Fishman Fluence® Modern Humbucker pickups… the smooth Alnico in the neck and the aggressive Ceramic in the bridge. Controls on the WA-WARBIRD include individual volume controls for each pickup, a push-pull switch on the tone control to choose pickup voicings, and a pickup selector toggle. Available in Black with Will’s Warbird graphic.
FISHMAN FLUENCE MODERN
Modern Humbucker Alnico has all the musicality, power and explosiveness of alnico. Full chords and fluid solos, plus a voice you’ve never heard in a humbucker. Great in both positions, or commonly paired with a ceramic bridge pickup.
Modern Humbucker Ceramic is a cutting ceramic attack. Brutal active aggression and passive punch in the same guitar. Great in both positions, or commonly paired with alnico neck.
Each Fishman Fluence pickup has two distinct and useful sounds on-board. These sounds start with the revolutionary Fluence Core, the heart of Fluence tone. From this Fluence Core we then create the classic timbres and tone — colors you expect from great guitar pickups — as well as some you’ve never expected.
