Description

Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument. The Viper-1000 EverTune adds the innovative EverTune constant tension bridge to the offset double-horn Viper design for the first time. The EverTune keeps your guitar in near perfect tuning under nearly any condition, and keeps excellent intonation at all points up and down the neck. The Viper-1000 EverTune also includes top-tier components like Seymour Duncan Sentient (neck) and Pegasus (bridge) passive pickups, splittable by a push-pull control, and Grover tuners. Available in See Thru Black Cherry Satin finish.

EVERTUNE
The EverTune bridge is an all mechanical bridge system that keeps the guitar’s strings in-tune indefinitely by using a combination of springs, levers and some mathematics, which create constant tension on every string, all while still allowing for expressive playing including vibrato and string bending. The EverTune supports any desired tuning and is a perfect solution for song writing, recording and touring where a guitarists needs to rely on unwavering tuning stability and great intonation across the neck.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN SENTIENT
The Sentient humbucker was originally designed to accompany the 7 and 8 string passive Nazgûl and Pegasus bridge pickups. It delivers a balanced, versatile tone that fits right between the 59 model and the Jazz neck pickup. You’ll get pristine cleans for intricate chordal and single note runs with fluid leads under high gain. The Sentient is a very articulate vintage output pickup with great dynamic response and a wide harmonic range. It works great for low tunings in all humbucker-equipped guitars.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN PEGASUS
The Pegasus was originally designed for extended range instruments. However, 6 string players immediately demanded we offer a version to call their own. It incorporates an alnico 5 bar magnet and custom winding specs. The goal was to deliver a warm, balanced, responsive, and lush tone for progressive metal. It’s a harmonically rich pickup with a prominent midrange and a focused low end. The high resonant peak makes for a sparkly top end and an incredible “bloom” on chords in high-gain situations. The responsive and accurate pick attack ensures that you will cut through any live mix, and will have tight-tracking transients in a studio environment. Because the Pegasus is a moderate output pickup, it works as well for clean tones as it does for distorted tones.
