Ken Susi is one of the two-guitar attack that comprises Massachusetts-based metal core heroes Unearth (the other being fellow ESP player Buz McGrath). Ken’s precise approach to soaring leads and ultra-tight rhythms is reflected perfectly with his LTD Signature Series KS M-7 Evertune model. Offering a neck-thru-body design at 25.5” scale for excellent stability and sustain, the 7-string KS M-7 Evertune is also highlighted by two innovative components: an Evertune constant tension bridge, and Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups. These pickups allow for a remarkable degree of sonic flexibility right from the guitar’s controls: the volume knob features a push-pull control for -5dB of gain reduction when pulled up, while the push-pull on the tone control selects the pickup voicing (down for “Modern Active” tone, or up for “Modern Passive Attack”). This model utilizes a standard 9V battery. Available in Metallic Silver finish.
EVERTUNE BRIDGE:
The EverTune bridge is an all mechanical bridge system that keeps the guitar’s strings in-tune indefinitely by using a combination of springs, levers and some mathematics, which create constant tension on every string, all while still allowing for expressive playing including vibrato and string bending. The EverTune supports any desired tuning and is a perfect solution for song writing, recording and touring where a guitarists needs to rely on unwavering tuning stability and great intonation across the neck.
FISHMAN FLUENCE MODERN
Modern Humbucker Alnico has all the musicality, power and explosiveness of alnico. Full chords and fluid solos, plus a voice you’ve never heard in a humbucker. Great in both positions, or commonly paired with a ceramic bridge pickup.
Modern Humbucker Ceramic is a cutting ceramic attack. Brutal active aggression and passive punch in the same guitar. Great in both positions, or commonly paired with alnico neck.
Each Fishman Fluence pickup has two distinct and useful sounds on-board. These sounds start with the revolutionary Fluence Core, the heart of Fluence tone. From this Fluence Core we then create the classic timbres and tone — colors you expect from great guitar pickups — as well as some you’ve never expected.
