Description

The LTD GL-600V is a solid body electric guitar with superb playability, powerful pickups and a unique asymmetrical V-shaped body. The Ltd Signature Series GL-600V is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Screamin’ Demon pickup in the bridge position and a Phat Cat pickup for the neck, a good pickup combination for metal and rock tones. The smooth, thin U-shaped, 3 Piece mahogany set neck with rosewood fingerboard on a mahogany V-shaped body, provides good resonance and sustain. The LTD GL-600V has a 24.75 inch scale for easy note bending and the upper frets are easily reached with the clever, V-shaped design. Other features include dots w/ Super V @ 12th Fret inlays, Schaller Locking tuners, Tonepros T3B-T bridge and T1Z Locking Tailpiece and Vol / Tone / Toggle controls. The GL-600V blends unique, radical looks with professional pickups and hardware.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN PHAT CAT (SPH90-1N)
Originally developed in the Custom Shop for Hamer Guitars, the Phat Cat is a true single-coil P-90 Soapbar that fits under a humbucker cover and drops into humbucker-equipped guitars. You get all of the authentic neck position bounce and sparkle that youd expect from a vintage Gibson P90 Soapbar. Chords have lots of rich harmonics, and solos have that unique single coil springiness. It uses two Alnico 2 bar magnets for more sustain and softer attack. And, the metal covers provide more shielding and noise reduction than standard soapbar covers. The neck model is RWRP, reverse wind reverse polarity, from the bridge pickup to provide noiseless operation when used together.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN SCREAMIN’ DEMON (SH-12)
The idea was to create a pickup that had the articulate airiness of an old-school P.A.F., but with more growl and sizzle. We designed slightly overwound coils, an alnico 5 bar magnet, and used a mix of pole pieces that included one row of standard adjustable screws, and one row of shorter Allen head screw. What you get is a big, open tone, with a treble emphasis that keeps your pick attack sounding articulate at any level of distortion. Originally designed as a bridge pickup, the 10k Screamin Demon is also a great neck pickup when paired with a high output humbucker in the bridge. Pair with the 59 neck or Jazz neck humbuckers for a great setup.
