Description
The LTD Arrow-1007 Baritone EverTune Black is everything you ever wanted in a guitar built for brutality. It’s a seven-string instrument and it’s built to full 27” baritone scale with neck-thru-body construction, allowing you to explore the depths of extended range tunings like you never have before while maintaining ideal string tension and articulate tones. Then add in the power of the EverTune constant tension bridge, delivering perfect tuning and intonation up and down the fingerboard, in nearly any conceivable environment. The Arrow-1007 Baritone EverTune has a mahogany body with maple cap, three-piece maple neck, reverse headstock, and Macassar ebony fingerboard with triangular white pearloid inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Its sound is powered by a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted.
EVERTUNE
The EverTune bridge is an all mechanical bridge system that keeps the guitar’s strings in-tune indefinitely by using a combination of springs, levers and some mathematics, which create constant tension on every string, all while still allowing for expressive playing including vibrato and string bending. The EverTune supports any desired tuning and is a perfect solution for song writing, recording and touring where a guitarists needs to rely on unwavering tuning stability and great intonation across the neck.
MACASSAR EBONY FRETBOARD
Macassar Ebony (Diospyros celebica), derives it’s name from the Makassar, the main seaport of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. It is endemic to the island and attains heights of 20 metres. Macassar Ebony is quartersawn, this means that it is more stable and less prone to cracking than African and Indian Ebony. As a tonewood, Macassar Ebony has been described to produce instruments with a clear, loud sound. It’s providing a slightly dark and woody overtone content with a low to mid end predominance- much like Indian Rosewood!
