Description

The LTD Arrow-1000 Dark Brown Sunburst Satin is part of the Arrow-1000 series. With its beveled body and completely unique V shape, this Arrow-1000 stands out from the crowd with its figured quilted maple top, looking superb in Dark Brown Sunburst Satin finish. It features neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale with a mahogany body. Its extra-thin u-shaped three-piece maple neck has a compound radius for improved playing comfort, and features a reverse headstock with matching finish, Macassar ebony fingerboard with triangular white pearloid inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. The Arrow-1000 includes a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics. Voice 2 gives you the crisp, clean and fluid neck humbucker tone you’ve always wanted. Other components on the Arrow-1000 include a Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws and precise Grover tuners.

MACASSAR EBONY FRETBOARD
Macassar Ebony (Diospyros celebica), derives it’s name from the Makassar, the main seaport of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. It is endemic to the island and attains heights of 20 metres. Macassar Ebony is quartersawn, this means that it is more stable and less prone to cracking than African and Indian Ebony. As a tonewood, Macassar Ebony has been described to produce instruments with a clear, loud sound. It’s providing a slightly dark and woody overtone content with a low to mid end predominance- much like Indian Rosewood!
