Description
As the guitarist for Of Mice & Men, Alan Ashby needed a guitar that would give him both the sonic power for his band’s music along with the sturdy roadworthiness for high-enegry shows and a relentless touring schedule. What resulted is the LTD AA-600, a guitar that puts a killer contemporary vibe on a classic traditional shape. The AA-600 offers neck-through-body construction for smooth access to the highest frets, with a mahogany body and a fast and comfortable thin U-shaped 3-piece maple neck. Its ebony fingerboard hosts 24 extra-jumbo frets, while its sound is powered by a single EMG 81 active pickup for aggressive, in-your-face tones. This guitar’s sustain-packed sound is aided by a TonePros locking TOM bridge with string-thru-body design. The AA-600 comes in Satin Black finish.
EMG 81:
One of the most popular EMG’s, the 81 is the one that started a revolution. Utilizing powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the tone was designed with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain. Traditionally used in the bridge position of your guitar, this humbucking pickup will make your leads slice right through even the densest mix.
