SEYMOUR DUNCAN GUS G. BLACKOUTS (AHB-11S)
This matched set of two traditionally constructed humbuckers and a battery-powered Blackouts dual preamp was created for Gus G., who wanted the power of active pickups without sacrificing the hair-trigger response of his favorite Seymour Duncan passive pickups. This system combines the massive tone, kick, and distortion of Blackouts with the rich tone and expressive feel of my favorite passive pickups, says Gus. It responds perfectly to all my picking techniques, and more of my personality comes through than with any active pickup Ive tried.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN BLACKOUTS PREAMP (BMP-1)
It combines the high-output, low-noise Blackouts preamp with a quality volume pot and their Liberator Solderless Pickup Change Systemfor quick connections. You can use our special coil-packs, which will give you exact Blackouts tone, but with a passive look. Or, if you prefer, you may use your favorite set of passive pickups to keep the look you want.
