The ESP E-II Horizon NT-7 EverTune is a remarkable guitar that is one of the finest extended range guitars you’ll ever play. A seven-string model, it features the EverTune constant tension bridge, a fully-mechanical system that keeps your guitar in tune in nearly every imaginable environment, and keeps your intonation perfect at every point on the fingerboard. Pickups on the E-II Horizon NT-7 EverTune include the EMG 85-7H in the neck position, and an EMG 81-7H Brushed Black Chrome in the bridge. These active pickups offer close aperture coils to produce a detailed tone with incredible amounts of aggressive high end and fluid sustain. The E-II Horizon NT-7 EverTune is a neck-thru-body design at 25.5″ scale, with a comfortable alder body, a fast thin U-shaped maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets. Top-tier components include a Schaller straplock, Gotoh locking tuners, and a graphite nut. It’s available in Black finish, and includes a hard case. The EverTune bridge is an all mechanical bridge system that keeps the guitar’s strings in-tune indefinitely by using a combination of springs, levers and some mathematics, which create constant tension on every string, all while still allowing for expressive playing including vibrato and string bending. Based off the popular EMG 81, the 81-7H utilizes powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils to produce a detailed tone with incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain. The 85-7H is based on one of EMGs first pickups, the 85. Featuring close aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, the 85-7H is a powerful seven string guitar pickup with exceptional tone and versatility. The Alnico magnets of this model provide a muscular growl and smooth lead tones enabling you to play everything from the blues to the most extreme metal. Although often used in the neck position, make no mistake, the EMG 85-7H sounds great as a bridge pickup thanks to its exceptional smoothness and soul.
