Description

The ESP Alexi Laiho Black w/Yellow Pinstripe is a Signature guitar for the frontman of Finnish melodic death metal superstars Children of Bodom. Made by hand, one at a time, by the world-renowned luthiers at the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the ESP Alexi Laiho is designed for pure performance. It’s an offset V-shaped guitar with neck-thru-body construction. It pairs a comfortable alder body with a fast and smooth three-piece thin U-shaped maple neck, with an ebony fingerboard that features 24 extra-jumbo frets and sawtooth triangle inlays that glow in the dark. The ESP Alexi Laiho has Seymour Duncan pickup. Other premier components include a Floyd Rose bridge and Gotoh tuners.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN BLACKOUTS (AHB-1S)
The original Blackouts bridge humbucker delivers all of the power and full bodied punch that todays metal players demand from an active pickup. You get the high output signal level of an active pickup, with more of an organic feel and open tonal response that allows the character of your guitar to come through. The treble and bass response is extended beyond the range of traditional active pickups, and has been carefully balanced with a slightly scooped midrange for the perfect crunch. This pickup excels at screaming pinched harmonics and hyper-speed riffage with responsive dynamics across the entire fretboard.
