Jackson USA Misha Mansoor Juggernaut BULB HT6

Misha Mansoor is acclaimed for his masterful guitar work in fashioning the progressive metal of Periphery. Now, the esteemed Djent-leman himself and Jackson have collaborated closely on the Misha Mansoor Juggernaut HT6, a brand-new model like nothing else Jackson has ever seen—or heard—before.

The instrument is crafted with a distinctive Jackson body shape inspired by the Dinky™, with sleekly scalloped horns, a comfortably contoured neck heel and a gorgeous quilt maple top on trans-finish models. The bolt-on quartersawn maple neck is sculpted with Mansoor’s own custom profile, and features graphite reinforcement, ivoroid binding and heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel.

The 20”-radius ebony fingerboard is crafted with 24 stainless steel jumbo frets, piranha inlays, special Periphery “P” inlay at the 12th fret, and Luminlay fluorescent side dots. The guitar’s tonally versatile sound comes from Mansoor’s dual direct-mount signature Bare Knuckle “Juggernaut” humbucking pickups with brushed nickel covers and engraved “Bulb” logo, fiveway switching and a push-pull (on/off) master tone knob.

Other premium features include a Jackson reverse AT1 headstock with three Hipshot open-gear locking tuners on each side, Hipshot hard-tail bridge, black anodized brushed aluminum rear cavity cover with laseretched “Bulb” logo, black hardware and more. Available in Amber Tiger Eye, Laguna Burst, Matte Black, Matte Blue Frost and Silverburst Sparkle finishes. Includes custom black Jackson case with blue edges and Mansoor’s “Bulb” logo.

Designed with Mansoor, the Bare Knuckle Juggernaut pickup delivers a versatile range of tone, featuring a full and focused bass response, hefty mids with clear definition and a rich and vocal treble to handle the articulation and dynamic control fit for Mansoor’s progressive style.

Built to Mansoor’s specifications, the shredder’s heel features a deep carve on the lower backside of the body that allows for ultimate playing comfort and stability with optimal accessibility to the upper reaches of the fingerboard.

Misha Mansoor

Djent forefather and speed demon Misha Mansoor has gained widespread accaim as the mastermind behind the axe-centric progressive metal band Periphery. Formed in Washington, D.C., back in 2005, the Grammy-nominated act represents the vanguard of addictive, chaotic, challenging and cathartically inviting heavy music for the modern era. The triple-guitar attack and rhythmic dexterity of Periphery has won them devoted adherents across underground subcultures, regardless of whether those fans were weaned on the passion-fueled sounds of the Vans Warped Tour or the progressive rock of Rush. A clear contender for “Breakthrough Band” at Metal Hammer’s 2013 Golden Gods Awards and frequent tourmates of Meshuggah, Dream Theater, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Animals As Leaders and other ultra-shred-happy friends and contemporaries from across the spectrum of loud rock, Periphery have earned their reputation onstage and off through a combination of undeniable chops and upbeat charisma.

Jackson Guitars

Jackson began back in the late 1970s, when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity and a small Southern California guitar repair shop became the epicenter of a new level of shred-approved excellence. Ever since then, Jackson guitars have been universally lauded as the metal guitars; the shred machines—highly original high-performance instruments of distinctive style and formidable substance. www.jacksonguitars.com
